October 28 2011 was a historic and thrilling day for us. The first D-Wave One system residing outside of D-Wave’s headquarters has been installed in its new home at USC’s Information Sciences Institute in Marina Del Rey, California. Ilmeisesti 128 qubitin adiabaattinen kvanttitietokone on todennäköisesti olemassa. 2012 pitäisi tulla markkinoille 512 qubitin adiabaattinen kvanttitietokone ja erinäiset lähteet kertovat, että qubittien määrä voisi sen jälkeen tuplaantua joka vuosi. Tuolla tiedolla voi sitten arvioida, että joskus 2020 voisi qubittien määrä olla noin miljoona.
